The world’s first online pet supply and delivery service has been launched in central Europe.
Craigslist is the company behind KCP, which has a fleet of 100,000 dogs and cats that it sells on its site, and which has partnered with pet stores and breeders to expand its market.
Craigslist has said it plans to expand into the US, Japan, and Europe.
It is targeting pet stores, pet supply stores, breeders, and pet food distributors to offer its services, with plans to open stores in a number of cities over the next two years.
“Craigslist’s mission is to provide a way for people to buy, sell, and give pets as gifts, without having to worry about their safety,” the company said in a blog post.
“It’s about empowering people to have fun with their pets without having any fear.”
Craigslist says it has more than 3 million members across the world, and is already seeing an increase in adoption.
In the UK, for example, about a quarter of all people have a pet.
